Driver Permissions Feature

This feature enables you to grant permission to selected drivers to drive your vehicle. These designated drivers will receive any communication if the Vive QR on the vehicle is scanned while they are driving. 

While the vehicles are registered under the business owner’s or company’s Vive account, you have the flexibility to grant as many permissions as needed for any of your registered vehicles. These permissions can be added, removed, or modified at any time.

As a business, you may prefer to receive
notifications when a Vive QR on one of your
vehicles is scanned. This helps you maintain
oversight of your vehicles’ usage, ensuring they are safe and properly utilized at all times.

Your employees driving your fleet

The driver can indicate in the Vive app that they are operating the vehicle, ensuring they are contactable at any time, such as in instances of improper
parking. We recognize that delivery vehicles often need to park near outlets, sometimes in spaces not designated for parking. By enabling people to directly contact the driver in urgent situations where the vehicle needs to be moved, it’s possible to avoid fines for the company, especially in genuine cases.

Your Company receives communication when someone scans the Vive QR

If your company aims to monitor issues like reckless parking or other vehicle-related issues, you can not use the Driver Permissions feature for some or all your vehicles.

This will enable you to directly receive all communications when someone scans the Vive QR on the vehicle. Assume full command and maintain control over your vehicles.

Within the app, you can easily identify the driver of a specific company vehicle if they have indicated that they are operating the vehicle on the Vive app. Additionally, you can communicate with the driver through the Vive app when necessary.
